Former MSU President Simon To Stand Trial
Former Michigan State University president Lou Anna Simon will stand trial on four counts of lying to police about her knowledge about the Larry Nassar scandal.
The decision was handed down by Eaton County Judge Julie Reincke on Monday after months of preliminary examinations in Eaton County Court in Charlotte.
No opening court date has been set as of yet. Simon is the third former MSU employee to either face charges, or in the case of former dean William Strampel be convicted on charges, related to the former Holt doctor (Nassar) who was convicted on multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct last year.
