Ford Issues Recall Over Suspension Problems In Sedans
WILX.com reports that Ford Motor Company is recalling nearly a quarter-million sedans due to a potential issue with suspension parts.
According to the report, some 240,000 Ford Flex, Ford Taurus SHO, Ford Taurus police cruisers, and Lincoln MKT models made between the 2013 and 2018 model years. The recall is due to a potential flaw with a part in the suspension of the cars that may break and increase the risk of a crash.
Apparently, if the suspension system moves a lot on the affected model, it can cause the rear toe links to break free, which help stabilize the rear end of the cars, keeping the tires on the ground.
There are no reports of accidents or injuries due to the flaw. Owners can expect notice of recall from Ford Motor Company starting in March.
