The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD ADVISORY for the Lansing area that is in effect until 11:15am. Counties in the FLOOD ADVISORY include Ingham, Eaton, Jackson, Calhoun, Barry and Kalamazoo. The National Weather Service says that the rain will continue this morning and could be heavy at times. **Some roadways that are affected by flooding this morning include EB 496 at the Cedar Street Exit and M-99 at Holt Road.

When the rain finally does end today, the NWS says that some areas may have received as much as 3 inches of rain. According to the National Weather Service, some areas that could see some minor flooding today include...Lansing, Jackson, Eaton Rapids, Charlotte, Mason, Waverly, Grand Ledge, East Lansing, Haslett and Williamston. A FLOOD WARNING is in effect until further notice for parts of Livingston County. Also, parts of Berrien, Branch, Cass, Hillsdale and St. Joseph counties are under a FLASH FLOOD WATCH until later this afternoon.
