This morning Banana Don and I had a discussion about the State Board of Education's decision to let students in the state of Michigan opt out of animal dissection. We shared memories of the times we dissected frogs (and such) and believe that dissection should still be allowed in schools so that future brain surgeons can start practicing their profession early. (That's what Don said....)

Anyway, with all the talk about frogs, it reminded me of the photo I have of when I won the frog-jumping contest at the Covered Bridge Days in Centreville, Michigan. Someone in my family messed up the photo (I'm not accusing anyone but it was probably my brother, Scott, since I beat him in the contest) but here it is for you to enjoy.

A couple of things you can "dissect" about the photo:

1.) I have Madonna/David Letterman teeth.

2.) I'm pretty sure that's our Ford Pinto in the background. (Not sure, though.)

3.) If you look closely, you can see a small, ceramic frog in the top of the trophy.

4.) I still have this trophy!
