Lansing, Michigan, has a solid fast food scene - no arguments there. We've got our fair share of burger joints, pizza spots, and even a few late-night drive-thrus to fuel the masses.

But let's be honest. For a city of its size, there are some well-known fast food places that are glaringly missing from Lansing's foodscape.

Do the Sonic gods think Lansingites would have no interest in pulling up to their speakers and ordering a whole carload of their delectable delicacies? If so, they're sadly mistaken.

Also, can we talk about the tragic absence of White Castle? Sure, frozen sliders from Meijer technically exist, but they're a sad, microwaved shadow of the real thing. Lansing deserves hot, fresh ones.

And while we're at it, how come hardly any fast places around here have fully embraced the concept of 24-hour service? You can't tell me Michigan State students wouldn't be lined up around the corner at 3:30am for a taste of that Jack In The Box goodness no matter what side of town they built it on.
