Famous Vincent Van Gogh Exhibit Coming To Michigan

If you've ever been interested in discovering the break down of an artists artwork and seeing things through their eyes, you'll get the chance to do that this summer.

The famous "Immersive van Gogh" is making its way to Detroit in a few months. You'll be able to experience his artwork projected over 500,000 cubic feet. The exhibit will walk you through every detail and brush stroke of van Gogh's portraits and paintings.

According to the "Immersive van Gogh" website, the exhibit will feature the following pieces, the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889) and one of my favorites, the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889).

Massimiliano Siccardi is an Italian installation artist and the creator of the "Immersive van Gogh." If you've seen the Netflix show "Emily In Paris," you may recognize his work as it was featured in episode 5. The soundtrack you'll hear during the exhibit is by Luca Longobardi.

The exhibit is taking all of the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Everyone attending is required to wear a face covering and will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Touchless sanitization stations are placed throughout the venue and socially distanced circles will cover the galleries space. Here is a list of the exhibits guidelines.
