El Oasis Food Truck – Now A New Restaurant? Yes Please!

As food trucks go, El Oasis is an institution in Lansing. And many have had a tasty Mexican meal in that parking lot on the corner of East Michigan and North Francis. But now, get ready to literally cross the street for their new restaurant Amanecer Mexicano. They are moving into the old Fish & Chips location at 2418 E. Michigan Ave. And as luck would have it, their grand opening is today (Thursday).  They'll be serving up breakfast and brunch 6 am to 2 pm Monday through Sunday.

From its spot on East Michigan Avenue in the former home of Fish & Chips, which closed last spring after nearly 50 years, Amanecer Mexicano will offer something Lansing doesn't have yet, Torrez said — an authentic Mexican breakfast and brunch restaurant. (LSJ)
