Eaton County Sheriff’s Department Arrests Wrong Way Driver St. Patrick’s Day Morning
The Eaton Country Sheriff's Department announced that only one hour into St. Patrick's Day, they arrested a person driving the wrong way on I-96. Officials say shortly after 1am, the department received reports of a wrong way driver on I-496. A deputy was able to locate and stop the vehicle that had at that point started traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-96 near the Saginaw Highway.
The driver, a 55 year-old female from Eaton County, was arrested for being impaired and was lodged at the Eaton County Jail. For more information on the arrest, you can check out the Facebook page for the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.
