Due To Major Apartment Fire, Waverly Schools Telling Parents They Must Come Pick Up Their Students

According to WILX-TV, there is an apartment fire that is affecting how students of Waverly Schools are to get home.

Waverly Schools is asking that parents of students that live in the area of Parkwest Drive in Eaton County's Delta Township to come pick up their children at their respective schools. Authorities have shut down Parkwest Drive due to this apartment fire.

The structure has been evacuated, however, the fire is being called "uncontrollable because of the wind". It's unknown is there are any injuries at this time. The story is still developing. We will keep you updated.
