With the crazy year we had in 2020, I have a feeling a lot more folks will be getting away on vacation this year. And yes, we all sure deserve it. How about a getaway at a geodesic dome cabin?

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so I had to ask what geodesic means. Well the definition is "relating to or denoting the shortest possible line between two points on a sphere or other curved surface." So there you have it. If you need a translation, basically, the cabins look like a normal cabin that was combined with one of those igloos people are eating in nowadays.

If this sounds good to you, you can check out more about it on mlive.com.

This is so cool and would be a blast. Talk about a cozy relaxing getaway, well this is it. Port Crescent has bragging rights too because they are the first park in the state to have them, and they have all the comforts of home. Reservations start today for stays beginning on May 28th. For reservations click here.

Domes will sleep four people and have skylights, a view of Lake Huron, a picnic table, and a grill pit. The price is very reasonable too at about $170 a night with a minimum 2 night stay. I am in and am gonna plan on this in the summer.
