Detroit Pro Team Licence Plates Are Now Available

Are you a die-hard Red Wings fans? Do you root for the Tigers no matter what kind of season they're having? The Pistons are in the playoffs! And...how about those Lions? If you've been waiting for a chance to show your love for any of the Detroit sports teams by having them prominently displayed on your license plate, your wait is now over. The Michigan Secretary of State office announce details about the new license plates on Tuesday.

The new Detroit pro team license plates will cost $35 up front and will also $10 to renew each year. According to the Detroit News, most of the revenue from the sale of the licence plates will benefit the team’s charitable foundations. Those charities support many different causes including physical fitness, nutrition, cancer prevention and more.
