It's about that time of year again. That time of year where we all gain an hour of sleep for a reason that no one really understands anymore: Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight Saving Time is ending this Sunday. So make sure that you plan accordingly. Your smartphone, tablet, laptop/computer, and any other "smart" devices should update the time all by themselves, although it won't hurt to check... It's all those manual time tellers you gotta watch out for. So take stock now; the oven, the microwave, the wall clock, and the coffee pot (the important one) all need to be switched to the "correct" time manually.

The switch happens at 2 a.m. "local standard time" on Sunday, November 4th, according to the Time and Date website. By the time you wake up on Sunday, assuming you wake up at a "normal" time like 9 am or something, the smart devices should all be updated to reflect "falling back" an hour. A tip on those devices you need to change manually; just change them all as soon as you wake up. That way you don't forget and you never have to wonder if that's actually what the time is!
