When I moved here last September to join 100.7 WITL for the Caddy & Gray morning show, one of the dilemmas I had was where to move. I happened to see online a new building in Downtown Lansing. I went to see it and I fell in love with the building and the Stadium District area. It was a great decision for me because everything is nearby.

And here is some exciting news from the Gillespie Group.  Courtyard’s newest brand the Marriott Bonvoy starts booking their rooms online today. I talked to Ashley Brzezinski, she is the Marketing Director for Gillespie, and she told me the newly open hotel contains a bar/lounge in the lobby with outdoor patio seating, a meeting space to hold small events, a fitness center, and they even serve Starbucks coffee.

I love living in the Block 600 building. Not only does it have all the amenities, but it is across the street from the ball park, and near many great bars and restaurants. It also has a grocery store in the building, the Capitol City Market.

Everything you need is so close living downtown, and of course Old Town is just a stone's throw away. Plus entertainment, dining, local concerts, events, and festivals, quick access to Lansing's Rivertrail, and right down the street from our state Capital and the growing buzz of the booming Stadium District.

So now with another great hotel down there, maybe plan your next staycation. Could be just the two of you, or with the whole family. Downtown Lansing has it all.
