Costco Is Coming To East Lansing

It's official!

The Lansing State Journal reports that the East Lansing City Council gave approval for Costco to begin a $30 million development. The new location will be located at 5800 Park Lake, between Saginaw and Haslett. Mayor Mark Meadows hopes that this development will act as a catalyst, and that "the surrounding lots develop quickly afterwards."

It should definitely bring lots of jobs to the area as well, not just working at Costco, but developing the site as well. I guess there are some concerns regarding the sites' soil... Read more about the development HERE.
