Committee Passes Bill In Michigan That Makes It Illegal To Leave Your Pet In Your Car
Yesterday we posted about that the fact that, according to WILX, there is currently no law in Michigan that forbids leaving animals unattended in cars but that could soon change. The update on this story is that the Michigan Senate Judiciary Committee met on Tuesday to review a bill that was introduced last year that would make it illegal to leave pets unattended in a car if the conditions could endanger the animal's health which includes extreme temperatures and lack of food or water. Well, that bill passed out of committee unanimously and will now be headed to the senate.
