Halloween is almost here and we have a lot to be excited about this year, for one thing, fewer restrictions than last year.  The pandemic messed up a lot of activities in 2020. So let's really enjoy this year's festivities with our friends and family.

A few days ago Mayor Andy Schor let us know the official hours for trick-or-treating in the City of Lansing.  They will be Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Here Are Some City Of Lansing Festivities

So let's get to the fun part,  The City of Lansing has quite a few Halloween festivities to get the most out of the scary holiday according to wlns.com.

You can have peace of mind too because there will be many safety precautions taken during all the fun in Lansing.

Here are some of the activities Lansing has to offer.

The Halloween Family Fun Run will happen on Friday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Schmidt Community Center. For info or to register, go to www.parksonline.lansingmi.gov.

 

Drive-thru Halloween will be Saturday, Oct. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. in Frances Park (2701 Moores River Dr.)

 

Trunk-or-treat will happen on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ops. Center (5815 Wise Rd.)

 

Souls to the Polls Drive-Thru Trunk-or-Treat will take place Saturday, Oct. 30 from 1 to 6 p.m. (2500 S. Washington Ave.)

 

Some Halloween Saftey Tips

Some tips,  try socially distancing, if you’re not vaccinated please wear a mask, but is not required. Also, sanitize your hands when out and wash your hands when you’re done trick-or-treating.
