Here’s What’s Going in Where Champps Used to Be in Lansing
After more than two decades, Champps Kitchen + Bar closed its location in Lansing, Michigan, in the summer of 2023.
We now know what will be taking its place.
Michigan-based Art & Jake's Sports Bar has announced plans to move into Lansing's old Champps location at 2800 Preyde Boulevard in Eastwood Towne Center in late 2024.
About Art & Jake's Sports Bar
Art & Jake's Sports Bar opened its first location in Shelby Township, Michigan, back in 2002. Since then, it has added four additional Michigan locations (Clarkston, Northville, Sterling Heights, and Washington Township) and another in Newnan, Georgia.
In a post on its brand new Facebook page, Art & Jake's Sports Bar Lansing introduces itself as a go-to location for sports fans.

The sports bar promises an "exciting and upbeat atmosphere, with prompt service from (its) friendly team members".
What Will Be on the Menu at Art & Jake's Sports Bar in Lansing?
If the menu offerings at the other locations of Art & Jake's Sports Bar are any indication, customers can expect a variety of pub fare with some notable specialty items.
Appetizers include the expected fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, but also selections such Bistro Filet Tips and Asian Pot Stickers.

The typical Art & Jake's menu features various flavors of wings, soups and salads. Paninis, wraps and street tacos are also available, along with several burgers and hand-helds. Pizza, steak and ribs are also featured.
