Will the world ever be the same again? How many times have you asked yourself that same question over and over again? We're sure it's been countless times.

The Centers for Disease Control is recommending that people wear masks in most of mid-Michigan. There are now 18 Michigan counties at a high COVID-19 Community Level.

Let's break that down according to mlive.com:

Eight of the 18 high-risk counties this week are in mid-Michigan, including Calhoun, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, Clinton, Shiawassee, Saginaw and Genesee counties. The list also includes three counties in the Thumb (Tuscola, Huron, Sanilac), two in metro Detroit (Macomb, Monroe) and five in the U.P. (Menominee, Dickinson, Iron, Baraga and Ontonagon).

What's really difficult to deal with is not knowing when or where you're going to end up with COVID-19.

Even though this is an ongoing situation, people are tired of hearing about it and even tired of seeing it on local and national TV broadcasts

And with all of this currently taking place in18 Michigan counties, we continue getting more and more updated COVID-19 approved vaccines.

In fact, now you're able to get the updated COVID booster that's designed to target omicron variants. People who got the boosters will probably get this one.

Mlive.com tells us:

The CDC recommends masking while indoors in public when counties are at a high Community Level, regardless of vaccination status.

I'm sure things are going to get worse once we get into the fall and winter months. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the whole pandemic coming to an end? Yet to be seen!
