New guidelines for anyone who has been fully vaccinated for Coronavirus have been issued by the Centers for Disease Control.

The CDC says that Americans who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can now congregate with others who've also been vaccinated without wearing masks.

Fully-vaccinated is defined as having gone two weeks after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or the second dose of the Pfizer or Maderna vaccine.

However, fully-vaccinated people are still discouraged from travel and attending large events.

The CDC also says that groups of vaccinated people can gather indoors with people who have not yet been vaccinated, so long as those who've not yet been vaccinated don't have underlying conditions that would make them vulnerable to COVID-19. Masks should be worn around anyone who has underlying risks, and keeping a safe six-foot distance is still recommended.

The CDC's guidelines say that gatherings between vaccinated and unvaccinated people should be limited to no more than two households.

Although the CDC has kept most of its recommended restrictions in place, the agency did say that fully-vaccinated people do not need to quarantine or get a COVID-19 test if they've been exposed to someone who has the virus, unless they are experiencing symptoms.
