Over the last several weeks it seems like there's been A LOT of recalls when it comes to 'human' food. Recently, there have been recalls issued for cookie dough, raspberries, apples and more. Well, this time around, it's cat food that is being recalled due to salmonella concerns.  Last week, Go Raw, a company based in Utah announced a nationwide recall of their cat food because it may be contaminated with salmonella.

According to the FDA, here's what you need to know about the frozen cat food that is being recalled:

  • The recall involves the  2 pound bags of Quest Beef Cat Food
  • The affected products were nationally distributed through retail stores and are identified with the following UPC 6-91730-17101-8, Lot N128.
  • No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
