After four long weeks in a hotel, I finally moved into a new apartment. Moving is always stressful, but I am so relieved to be in a new place. Living in a hotel for a month will make you appreciate home and your own bed. Originally, I looked for places in Okemos and Grand Ledge. I even took a ride to Williamston and I loved that downtown area.

I finally decided that I wanted to live in Downtown Lansing. I am loving it down here because there is so much to do in the area. I am near the ballpark and some cool bars and restaurants.

I have been walking around the area and had lunch at Lansing Brewing Company. Last Friday night I stopped in the Nuthouse to watch the Ballgame. No, not the insane asylum,  but the Sports Bar and Grille and had some great wings. Saturday there were a bunch of families watching Frozen at the ballpark, and it was a beautiful day.

Caddy's First Weekend as a Lansing Resident

Looking forward to next spring to take in some ballgames and see everything living downtown has to offer. Lansing's Stadium District is growing so fast, and I think its gonna be a great experience. Just a walk away to a lot of entertainment, dining, night life, and looking forward to checking out the River Trail, Rotary Park, Lansing's Capital and more. Already starting to feel like home!
