Who Has the Best Soft Pretzel in Greater Lansing?
Did you celebrate National Pretzel Day this week? I sure did! Pretzels are my 'go-to' snack and not because I like 'salty' treats...I'm in it for the crunch! Sometimes, though, a soft pretzel makes me just as happy. The question becomes: Who in Lansing has the BEST soft pretzel? And the next question is...do you like your soft preztel served with gooey cheese, beer cheese, mustard or something else?
Popular local Facebook group Lansing Foodies recently had a question from someone looking for the best soft pretzel in town. Here are the restaurants/breweries who had the most praise for their pretzel:
Auntie Anne's with locations in East Lansing, Lansing and Okemos - A staple among mall food courts with a variety of flavors (including Mini-Pretzel Dogs!) and dips!
BrickHaven Brewing in Grand Ledge - Giant Pretzel with beer cheese.
Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge - "made from scratch and fresh daily".
Joe's on Jolly in Okemos - A new-to-the-area restaurant with a Giant Pretzel served with sea salt, beer cheese and home-made mustard.
Old Bag of Nails in Lansing - Another new restaurant in town (with other locations in Ohio). Their pretzel is buttered, salted and baked! Also served with beer cheese.
Old Nation Brewing in Williamston - Serving up a "1 lb. house-made soft pretzel baked to order" from their Pub Menu.
Someone commented that they buy frozen pretzels in the store and bake them in their Air Fryer. While I haven't tried this yet, it sounds like a good way to have soft pretzels anytime you want them!
