Michigan is such a great state with so many incredible scenic views to check out beautiful fall colors.

You really don't have to drive far to see the changes in color during the peak fall season, but that's what makes it even more breathtaking in the first place.

Let me start out by saying that anywhere around Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is truly spectacular.

But I have to inform you that Pictured Rocks national Lakeshore in Munising is incredible during the fall months.

You just cannot take enough pictures of fall colors at Pictured Rocks. You have the Au Sable Lighthouse as well as waterfalls that make it a perfect viewing area for all to see.

I personally love this area of Michigan. All of the fall colors come together so nicely in Munising and it's like seeing a beautiful painting on your wall at home.

Another one of my favorite picks for fall foliage is on Mackinac Island. You would not believe how gorgeous everything looks on the big island once the fall colors take over.

And by the way, if you don't care for big crowds, then you should go to Mackinac Island soon because there are fewer tourists on the island, compared to the summer.

My thought would be to take a carriage ride throughout Mackinac Island so you can soak up all of the great views of fall foliage.

There are great views of fall all across Michigan this time of year and all you have to do is get in the car with your family and head out on a two or three day trip to take it all in.
