Bed Bath And Beyond Closing Some Stores

The old go to store, well at least for yours truly when it comes to saving me from having to run from place to place to do wedding gift shopping is apparently going to have less locations to go to.

According to fox17online.com, Bed Bath and Beyond is set to close around 40 of their locations in 2019. The reason is that the company has been having a tough time of late with lagging sales and coming up short in the last quarter, losing money. The company is considering closing so many stores because they may be unable to get better lease terms at some of their locations.

The interesting news here is that Bed Bath and Beyond is also planning to open 15 new stores. The company has over one thousand locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
