Aurelius Road Will Be Closed This Week

If you normally travel on Aurelius Road between Enterprise Road and Jolly Road (like I do every morning on my commute to work), you'll need to find an alternate route this week because of railroad repairs that are being done to the railroad tracks on Aurelius Road. According to the City of Lansing Facebook page, the repairs will start today (Monday, May 13th) are expected to be completed on Friday, May 17th and cars will NOT be able to cross the tracks during this time.

Plan on adding a few extra minutes to your commute to follow the detour this week. You can see the suggested detour route posted by the City of Lansing below. Please note that the businesses and residences located north of the tracks on Aurelius will need to be accessed from the north. Businesses and residences located south of the tracks will need to be accessed from the south.
