Another South Lansing Store Closes

So, I walked up to the door at Famous Footwear on Edgewood Boulevard yesterday and the sign on the front door read something like "This store is permanently closed. Sorry for the inconvenience." I had heard last month (around the same time that the Edgewood Sam's Club was closing) that Famous Footwear would be closing at the end of January and apparently, it's now official. The Edgewood Towne Center location has also been removed from their website.

The Party City has closed in that plaza as well. However, the Game Stop, Dollar Tree, Office Max and Great Clips are still open ...for now...For the record, I'm gonna be pretty bummed if that Dollar Tree location closes...
