I'll try to make the following information of this place as sterile as possible.

From the information supplied by my buddies at Ruin Road, this was built as a motel in 1949 in eastern Michigan.

As time went on and bigger, more luxurious motels and hotels were constructed, the owner basically turned the left side into rentals for long-term residents – the right side he saved for himself and entertaining his special guests.

Without going into too much detail, many adult parties were hosted here, with people arriving from all over to enjoy a certain style of entertainment that was difficult to find in rural Michigan. These special parties occurred on a monthly basis, and judging by comments made on the video, there are quite a few past customers who had memorable times there.

The explorers who captured the images in the gallery below found many things left behind that all pointed to an adult atmosphere: adult vacation pamphlets, special equipment, sauna, lots of ropes, lubricants, and more.

According to the former owner, “The place continued to run up until 2019 when I finally closed it and left it behind. The township only succeeded in having us shut down for 6 months as they violated civil and constitutional rights.....after they screwed things up so badly they stayed far away from there. It closed because after 10 years of running it, I just got tired and closed it.”

Some tenants just wouldn't leave even after the closing – the water was shut off, and they had to go to nearby homes to fill containers with water from their outside hoses.

The place sold in 2021 and sits basically deserted. The gallery below shows you many of the items mentioned earlier and a few others.

“If those walls could talk, the stories they could tell” - the former owner.
