I always enjoy the warmer months in Michigan, not only because there is no snow, but you can do things outdoors. Like many folks I enjoy dining outdoors. When at home many times we’ll take our meal out onto the deck and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, or we’ll just fire up the grill and cook out. Here in Michigan we are fortunate to have lot’s of outdoor dining available all over the state as well, for those days when you just want someone else to do the cooking.

No matter what your palette is craving, you are bound to find an outdoor dining location on our list that fits the bill. And we made sure they are all in the Lansing and East Lansing areas so you don’t have far to go. So next time you are ready for a new dining experience, pick a location from our list. Then tempt your significant other or a friend to join you for a wonderful outdoor dining experience. It's actually good for you.

Westchester Magazine reports

“First off, spending time outdoors boosts levels of Vitamin D, a vital hormone that may protect against a range of diseases, such as osteoporosis, depression, heart attacks and stroke.”(Scientific American reports that far too few of us get enough of this critical vitamin.) In addition, fresh air improves your mood by decreasing anxiety and increasing happiness. Spending time outdoors also improves concentration, memory and attention; reduces stress levels; and it may even help you heal faster.
