Did you know the San Diego Unified School District has their own police force? I don't mean some security guards or even off duty policemen - I mean a real POLICE FORCE.

And now they have an MRAP vehicle, that they just got from the U.S. Department of Defense. This thing is meant to go through walls and survive IED attacks. And, it's possible this vehicle was built right around here at Spartan Chassis in Charlotte, MI. The school district says it's for emergency situations that require rescuing students, like an active shooter on campus or a wall needing to be pushed down during a fire. But, hey - it was free, so.....
