Lansing May See An Increased Presence of State Troopers

According to the Lansing State Journal, Lansing may see an increased presence of State Troopers.

LSJ reports that an announcement will be made today in regards to Lansing officially becoming a part of the Secure Cities Partnership. The Secure Cities Partnership was started five years ago by Gov. Rick Snyder to help provide "services to select, distressed cities."

No word on what exactly what kind of services would be provided. If you'd like to hear the announcement yourself, it will take place "during a news conference in front of Lansing City Hall". Get more details here.
