According to Mlive, police will be increasing their presence at approximately 18 roundabouts in Washtenaw County that seem to have a high number of crashes. For the next several weeks, police will be making traffic stops and passing out information educating drivers on how to navigate a roundabout.

After seeing this story, I started to think about the different roundabouts in Mid-Michigan and which ones were the worst. Thankfully, there are only two roundabouts that I occasionally have to navigate---the new-ish one on Cedar Street between Holt and Mason and the one in Okemos at Hamilton and Marsh Roads. So far (knock on wood), I haven't had any issues with either one of these roundabouts...except for when traffic backs up a lot on Hamilton Road because of the traffic light...

For those that might need some help in this department, here's a handy YouTube video with instructions on how to correctly drive through a roundabout. You're welcome!
