Tonight is a big night for the city of Detroit as they try and set a world record for the "World's Longest Box of Chocolates". They're making a 313-foot-long box of chocolate that will reportedly contain 2,600 pieces of chocolate. Here's the thing...It appears that they will most likely be successful in setting the world record with tonight's event because according to Mlive.com, organizers say they aren't aware of any existing record for a 'longest box of chocolates.' (Pretty smart, huh?!)

The event is part of an effort to raise money to help improve Detroit's riverfront. They chose the measurement of '313' foot because the area code for Detroit is 3-1-3. (Pretty clever, huh?!) If you want to be a part of the world record, you can get your tickets by clicking here.
