The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the Lansing area that is in effect from 1am unitl 7pm on Friday. We won't be seeing a lot of snow in our area--about 1 to 3 inches in some areas--however, the National Weather Service says that we should plan on snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Roads could be slippery on your commute Friday morning and Friday night. Counties in the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY include: Clare; Clinton; Eaton; Gratiot; Ingham; Ionia; Isabella; Jackson; Mecosta; Montcalm and Osceola.

**Please keep in mind that if you have travel plans to the west side of Michigan, they are expected to see more snow than our area. The National Weather Service says that portions of south central, southwest and west central Michigan could see total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and strong wind gusts. That area of the state has a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY that goes into effect at 1am and will last until 7am on Saturday. Counties in that advisory include: Allegan; Barry; Calhoun; Kalamazoo; Kent; Lake; Mason; Muskegon; Newaygo; Oceana; Ottawa and Van Buren.
