Winter Is Coming Sooner Than You Think For Michigan

Before I share this info, I just want to say... Don't shoot the messenger!

MLive meteorologist, Mark Torregrossa, reports that winter is going to be here sooner than we think, despite the fact that we've "had warmer than normal temperatures for most of September". You may want to start to prepare yourself for some winter weather; about 500 miles north of here they're already seeing snow.

As if that's not enough, "all of southern Canada will drop well below the freezing mark" this Saturday! And if the southern part of Canada is below freezing, I'm gonna go ahead and guess that all the northern parts are below freezing as well. I just hope that winter holds off as long as it can so we can enjoy some of the best parts of fall in Michigan! Get more on this winter weather forecast here.
