Why Do “The Simpsons” Never Age? Fans Present A Shocking New Theory

25 years after we first met them - why has nobody on "The Simpsons" ever aged? Bart should be in his mid-thirties now. Lisa should be well into her career as a Democratic senator or world-renowned saxophone player. And Homer should be preparing for retirement from the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

But they're not.

Because, according to an article in the Daily Mail, Homer has been in a coma for the last 20 years.

You read that right. Homer is in a coma and has been imagining everything you've seen on "The Simpsons" since April of 1993. At least, that's the newest theory put forth by die hard "Simpsons" fans. And the "facts" seem to back up the claim.
