Today (August 3rd) is National IPA Day - a day to celebrate beers known as IPA - India Pale Ale. (I know - there's a day for everything these days) Michigan is famous for it's IPA beer. In fact, in 2014, Thrillist named Michigan the #4 state for beer - some of that love due to our IPAs.

MLive.com has put together a list of breweries in Michigan celebrating the big day. Sure, you could drive over to Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo where they probably shut down the city to celebrate. Or, you could drop into Old Nation Brewing in Williamston and Grand River Brewing in Jackson.
