Where in Michigan can you take your dog to the beach?

My German shepherd, Axel, loves water. Can't get enough of being sprayed by a hose. So, we've always talked about taking him to a lake to see how nuts he would get. But, I've always thought dogs were not allowed on state park beaches. I just found out I was wrong (I know - shocker!). According to MLive.com, certain areas of certain state park beaches are open to dogs as long as you keep them leashed and clean up after them.

Get ready to be freaked out, Axel.
