So that's it. Summer's over.

Summer 2017 was a good one. We all had some fun at "Taste of Country 2017" and "Common Ground". And, to wrap it up, I went back to the U.P. with my lovely wife.

We stayed at a cabin in Grand Marais and made trips to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising (pasties at Muldoons), Marquette (great history museum) and Seney National Wildlife Refuge (was looking forward to seeing wolves, bears or bald eagles on the hike - ended up only seeing beaver poop - no live beavers - just poop and chewed up trees).

In the last couple of summers, we've seen a lot of the U.P.- and we certainly haven't seen it all (still need to get to the Porcupine Mountains). But, I think we've finally fallen in love with the U.P. It is incredibly beautiful up there.
