If you own a cell phone then you know that you should always pay attention to your data usage if you want to avoid any 'extra' charges. Well, according to the Telegraph, 43-year-old British math teacher, Katie Bryan, didn't pay attention to her data usage and was hit with a HUGE fee for downloading a "best of" Neil Diamond album. She was apparently visiting people in South Africa when she decided to get the download while on vacation. The massive international data charge for the download was $4,400!! (It normally would've cost around $6.00.)

She called the cell phone company and complained and they refused to budge saying that she far exceeded her foreign data allotment for the month. However, they eventually changed their minds and changer her bill to around $667! (Quite the bargain.) She still isn't very happy and told the paper, "I do feel foolish. But I also feel it is morally wrong to be expected to pay this sort of money for a Neil Diamond album."

I would have to agree. No offense, of course, to any Neil Diamond fan out there...
