U.S. Government Looking For Mosquito Hunters In Michigan
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is looking for volunteer mosquito hunters. Volunteers are needed to collect mosquito eggs in their communities and upload their data to help populate an online map on the government website for the Invasive Mosquito Project. The goal is to provide real-time information about hot spots for Zika. Officials say that the mosquitoes that can spread Zika are already flying throughout the U.S. and they are hoping this website can help to combat the spreading of Zika.
