Townsquare Media Lansing Lottery Club A Big Winner

We, like maybe you, had a little lottery club break out at work this week. We usually don't have a lottery club until some jackpot eclipses some gigantic number, like close to a billion dollars, just like the Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night.

Because seriously, why would you want to waste your time starting or participating in a lottery club when the jackpot is a paltry 30-million dollars? (I'm chuckling here...)

Anyway, we did win...and it could be big depending on if you're a half-full or half empty glass person.

Our big windfall? Somewhere between four and sixteen dollars...split between 29 people. That comes out to...um...I'm not sure but I think we'll reinvest for the next big jackpot and drawing coming up on Tuesday. So, good luck to us.

I want to take a second to say "thank you" to the guy at work here who headed up the lottery club, collecting all of the money and buying all of the tickets and sending us emails with all of the ticket numbers.

And by the way, when everyone was replying all to your ticket numbers email with a "thank you" yesterday and I replied, "Don’t thank him until after we win and we make sure he isn’t going to make a run for the border…", I was just kidding.
