Tornado Confirmed In Michigan
It wasn't the strongest tornado...but it was still a tornado. The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado did indeed touchdown earlier this week in Shiawassee County. The EF-0 tornado that hit Monday night in Vernon Township packed winds around 65 miles per hour.
According to the Detroit Free Press, officials say no one was injured by the tornado. However, officials says some damage was reported to a barn in the area and some trees were damaged, too. As far as I know, there are no pictures of the damage... :)
