Steve Dodge lives along the Grand River and has a woolly mammoth (or maybe a mastadon) in his backyard. He's not sure which it is, but it's some sort of big and old (11,000 years old) elephant. He knows it's in his backyard because he found it's rib bone about ten years ago. According to WILX.com, he dug up what he could and now takes the bones to show kids at local schools. But he's moving soon and wants to make sure some local school or museum will allow local kids to come out and help discover the rest of the bones after he sells his house.

Seems like somebody I'd want to have a beer with.

Hey, kids - cloned woolly mammoths? In the Potter Park Zoo? Let's make that happen!
