Toilet Paper – Over or Under? Dispute Solved Once and For All

Thanks to the people at the Mirror in the UK, we now have definitive proof that toilet paper should be dispensed from "over" the top of the roll. We know because they have published drawings from the 1891 patent application from the inventor of toilet paper AND the toilet paper roll - Seth Wheeler.

In his own drawings, Mr Wheeler (from Albany, New York) CLEARLY intended the roll of toilet paper to be dispensed from over the top.

So, thanks for your input, but - the debate is over. Move along now, nothing to see here anymore.
