To Floss Or Not To Floss [VOTE]
Sure, there's a lot of controversy in the news about the presidential election but in case you missed it, one of the other big stories this week is about flossing. According to a report by the Associated Press, the US Department for Health and Human Services and Agriculture admitted in a letter that the benefits of flossing had never been properly researched. However, for years dentists have said flossing can help remove plaque between the teeth, reduce the risk of gingivitis and help to fight gum disease and tooth decay.
Well, this is one of those 'who you gonna believe' topic and I'm sure that if you ask your dentist, they are most likely going to tell you that flossing does--and will always have--many benefits. Quite frankly, I think it's probably safer to take the few minutes needed and keep flossing...because you know...what if?
