Tomorrow is the big day!

According to Lansing State Journal, the well known Michigan doughnut shop, Cops & Doughnuts, is opening its Lansing location tomorrow morning (Tuesday 5/7)! The "Capital Precinct" as it's called, is DEFINITELY prepared to take your order tomorrow. Co-owner, Heidi Williams, says that they'll have 400 dozen doughnuts ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. And no, you didn't read that wrong... 400 DOZEN! "That's 4,800 doughnuts", Williams told LSJ, just in case you didn't feel like doing the math on that one, lol.

The Lansing Cops & Doughnuts will have their doughnuts, among other baked goods, delivered from the original store in Clare, MI every morning by 5 am. So if you've ever been to the one out in Clare (I've had the immense pleasure, myself), you'll experience the same delicious treats at this location. So in addition to doughnuts, you can also expect to see (and eat) "breads, pastries, cakes, Amish hand pies and cookies." And don't forget the coffee, cheeky t-shirts, and "Mug Shot" poster for picture taking.

Cops & Doughnuts Capital Precinct opens Tuesday, May 8th at 6 am. Find them at 6427 Centurion Drive off of Creyts Road. To get more information on the new store opening, click here!
