It's been called the scariest bridge in Michigan. It's the Croswell Swinging Bridge in Croswell, MI - just north of Port Huron. According to an MLive.com story, from 2016, it does appear to be the only pedestrian suspension bridge in the state of Michigan.

And I know the residents of Croswell don't want to hear this, but - (and I don't want to judge harshly) it doesn't really look all that scary. However, I will admit, I've never walked across the Croswell Swinging Bridge. When I do, maybe then I'll understand the fear of staring down at the Black River from, what - six or eight feet above the river?

The good news? It looks like a good place to take little kids, who might buy the "scary" hype and then run back and forth across it enough to fall asleep in the car on the way home.

Here's the story. With some dizzying photos.
