These Are The Best Lansing Area Patios For Summer Drink Sippin’
Michigan summers are absolutely beautiful, and what better way to enjoy a Michigan summer than to go out with friends and enjoy a nice drink on the patio?
If you'd like to drink a nice, cool drink one of these hot summer days and do a little people watching, The Greater Lansing Blog did the leg work and put together a list of some of the "best patio sittin' and summer drink sippin'" in the Lansing Area.
El Azteco is cool because their patio is a ROOFTOP patio. So while you're enjoying a margarita and perhaps some of "their famous cheese dip", you can also take in the grand view of downtown East Lansing. Also, since it's summer, there are way less college students in the area, making the trip into East Lansing a much easier one.
Lansing Brewing Company, located in Downtown Lansing behind Cooley stadium, is the perfect place to spend a summer evening. LBC features craft beers and spirits made in house, along with a funky food menu. All of which you can enjoy in their outdoor space, replete with outdoor lights and games of cornhole!
Red Cedar Spirits is another East Lansing location with a great patio. Add to that, one of their unique cocktails, and you've got a winning combination in my book. The only thing that could make that better would be a drink special... AND THEY HAVE ONE! They've got a "daily happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m." where cocktails are just $4 each.
Reno's Sports Bar & Grill is a triple threat - They've got an East Lansing location - Reno's East; one on Lansing's west side - Reno's West; and one on the north side as well - Reno's North. Each Reno's offers a fun and different outdoor experience: Reno's East has that Spartan and "GO GREEN!" flair, Reno's West has a tiki themed patio area, and Reno's North offers a patio area directly adjacent to their outdoor beach volleyball court! And all Reno's offer their famous fish bowl cocktails to enjoy on the patio as well!
Tavern and Tap offers a very unique patio experience because of its view of the Michigan State Capitol. You can take in the gorgeous view while people watching and enjoying a cocktail. Better yet, enjoy Tavern and Tap's patio during one of their Saturday or Sunday brunches, where they offer up $3 mimosas and $5 bloody mary bars.
Zoobies in Old Town has a fun and eclectic patio that welcomes you to the neighborhood. Take a seat in one of their mismatching chairs and enjoy one of their funky moscow mules and say hello to summer. If you get hungry, you can order from pizza next door from The Cosmos.
