The Michigan Renaissance Festival Kicks Off This Weekend!

A knight, a princess, and a leprechaun walk into a tavern… No, that’s not the beginning of a hilarious joke, that is something that happens on the regular at the Michigan Renaissance Festival, which goes on every weekend from now until September 30th!

Every weekend at Ren Fest will be jammed packed with plenty of food & drink as well as merriment & entertainment. Entertainment, no doubt, that will be suited for each themed weekend. Every weekend during the festival has a different theme. Check out the different themes below!

• August 18th & 19th - Royal Pet & Ale Fest
• August 25th & 26th - Highland Fling
• September 1st, 2nd, & 3rd - High Seas Adventure
• September 8th & 9th - Wonders of the World
• September 15th & 16th - Shamrocks & Shenanigans
• September 22nd & 23rd - Harvest Huzzah
• September 28th - Festival Friday
• September 29th & 30th - Sweet Endings

All weekends offer a wide range of food, drinks, entertainment, and activities. If you want to plan a trip to this 16th Century village, make sure you get your tickets! Ticket prices range depending on when you purchase them and what type of ticket needs purchasing. You can get all that info HERE. You’ll also want to check out the schedule of their weekend themes (unless, of course, you just plan to go to all of them!) to better decide which weekend sounds best! And don’t be shy… costumes, while awesome, are not required. So don’t feel like you have to go all “Knight-in-literal-armor” in order to attend.
