The Lansing Area Could See Heavy Rain & Flooding Today
The National Weather Service says that the Mid-Michigan area is at a greater risk of seeing some heavy rainfall and possible flooding later today. Showers and thunderstorms will become widespread this afternoon and into the evening hours. The National Weather Service says that some thunderstorms today may contain torrential rainfall and possibly even some severe weather. Some areas in Mid-Michigan could see over two inches of rain today and tonight and widespread rain of a half inch to an inch is possible. No advisories, watches and/or warnings have been issued for the Lansing area at this point. (Wednesday, 5/30/18--8:00am)
